Looking for a meaningful volunteer experience? With Habitat you can learn skills, make friends and give back to your community.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Habitat Greensboro. We rely heavily on volunteers to support a mission that we believe in – Habitat puts God’s love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

Please note: if you are volunteering on a day that is not Saturday, you will need to bring your own lunch. Habitat will provide water for the day.

Greensboro Permaculture Guild

The Greensboro Permaculture Guild has been volunteering their services to Habitat Greensboro for the past 2 years. The Guild is a cooperative where members teach others about permaculture and sustainable landscape design. Teri Hammer, David Mudd, Charlie Headington, and Pat Bush are among the regulars we see every time we landscape a yard. Not only do these folks help us on-site, but they also design the landscape plans for each yard. We are so thankful for all they do to help make our homes the best they can be.
