What is a ReStore
Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price.
ReStores are independently owned and operated by local Habitat for Humanity organizations. Proceeds are used to help build strength, stability, self-reliance and shelter in local communities and around the world.
Your ReStore purchase helps build affordable, energy-efficient homes in Greensboro. And, the ReStore gives the community a convenient way to donate new and gently used items, keeping quality items in circulation and out of local landfills.
When you shop, donate to or volunteer at the ReStore, you help build homes for hardworking families and strengthen our community.
History of the Greensboro ReStore
The Greensboro ReStore opened in 2000. Today, the ReStore has a 38,000 square foot showroom, an appliance repair center, two moving trucks for customer pickups, and a ReStore on the Move donations trailer.
At the ReStore, you’ll find deals on new and gently used furniture, appliances, house wares, construction material, office furniture, light fixtures, art and so much more. The inventory changes every day, so check back often.
