Building on Faith

The 2016 Building on Faith house kicked off on Saturday, June 4th“We have been looking forward to this day for a long time. I want to thank God for whom all of this is possible. I am so excited to finally have a home where our boys can play outside. This is a blessed day,” said new homeowner Jatana Wilson.

We are so grateful for the ongoing support of the Faith Community. In 2015, we began a new venture - our Building on Faith Initiative – which funded two new houses in our Stonegate Crossing neighborhood for qualified homeowners, the Lakisha Walker Family and the Joseph & Martha Weah Family. It was a tremendous success and a wonderful opportunity to fellowship and build friendships with members of various faith communities. We are excited about working together again in 2016 to build a new home in the Quail Oaks West neighborhood. Our work together will involve volunteer engagement, devotions, study guides, as well as hands-on outreach and stewardship opportunities.

We have available house banks. A great way for children, Sunday School classes and anyone interested in contributing their spare change to help build houses. Pair it with our Lenten Devotion calendar.
