Arbor Court Town Homes
![]() Twenty new multifamily town houses, the first for our non-profit, will be built over the next 12-18 months. The first unit of 6 town homes finished construction in January 2009. The next unit of 6 town homes was finished in June 2010 with the third unit of 4 town homes currently being dried-in! Sponsors for this project include the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, the City of Greensboro; Corporate Sponsors : Crown Automotive Management, Inc., Bank of America, Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Citi. Faith Community : First Lutheran Church, First Baptist Church, Catholic Partnership, Westover Church, West Market Street United Methodist Church, Westminster Presbyterian Church and First Presbyterian Church. Foundations : Tannenbaum-Sternberger Foundation and Cemala Foundation. An anonymous donor gift was also made to the project. The $1.5 million Arbor Court Town Home Project occupies the 400 block of Bingham Street, between Hassell and Spencer Streets, adjoining the Eastside Park community and across the street from the Willow Oaks neighborhood. The new two-bedroom town homes are designed to give working families a chance to own a home of their own. Each town home is between 850 to 1,000 square feet.
